Step 3

Our stitches look okay. Now to add a pattern and some texture to our flower.

Go back to your layer palette and select your flower. Then go to the top and find Selections > From Vector Object. This will select your flower.

Next go to your material palette and change the color to a pattern. Select the pattern you like and click on the paint bucket in the tool bar.

Now all we have to do is add some texture to your flower and you're done!

With your flower selected in the layer palette go to Effects > Texture Effects> and select Canvas fine from the textures.

And there you have it! Stitching in Paint Shop Pro!

If you would like a more realistic stitch check out the Creating Stitches With Holes in Paint Shop Pro.
