Emergency Hospital Bag Check List for Dads

Here is a check list of things your wife would like you to bring to the hospital for her. This was written just for the dads so you don’t forget anything important. We only have the essentials listed to make it easy. These are the must haves for the hospital bag.

Hospital Bag Check list
What to bring to the hospital

		For Mom
		Hospital paperwork and insurance card (If you can’t find paperwork or have no idea what to do grab your insurance card.)
		Cell phone or prepaid phone card for your wife. Trust us she will want to make some calls while she is at the hospital.
		Camera (If you have one bring it. If not, get a disposable camera)
		Important phone numbers
		Underwear, socks, and bras Make sure to find ones that will fit her. If she has maternity panties grab those. If she is planning to breastfeed make sure she has a nursing bra.
		Change of clothes (bring a couple outfits) Very important Find something that will fit your wife, lose and stretchy clothes are a good choice. If you aren’t sure what size she is wearing grab a pair of maternity pants and a maternity top (that doesn’t tie in the back) just in case she needs it.
		Deodorant
		Tooth paste and tooth brush
		Razor
		Hair brush and shampoo
		Make up/cosmetics
		Contact solution/contact case
		For Baby
		Going home outfit. (If she doesn’t have one picked out, which we doubt will be the case, go buy one)
		Car seat
		Baby blankets
