Drawing
a rope

Create
a new layer first. Then using your paintbrush tool
draw a rope that goes along the top corner of your
canvas. Make sure to cover the two holes in your tag.
This does not look like a rope yet but with a simple
filter it will look more realistic.
Use
a filter on your rope

To
create a more realistic look we used a filter.
We used rough pastels and set the stroke length to
12 and detail to 4 with a sandstone texture. You can
play around with the sliders until you get the effect
you want or try a different filter.
After
you add your filter, add a drop shadow and bevel and
emboss.
Erase
the rope

Carefully
erase the rope so that it looks like the rope is going
through the holes in the tag.
Add
your text

Add
text to your scrapbook page and you are done.
Try alternating the colors in your text or
adding a bevel and emboss to your text.
Print
your digital scrapbook page.
