First
design your ice cubes with photos in them. Use our
tutorial to create each of your ice cubes. Save your
ice cube files. And then you can create your scrapbook
page. Or you can download our zip
file of our ice cube and just place your
photo inside.
Then
create your water background. Use our
tutorial to design this background. Place
your ice cubes into your water background and arrange
them staggered on top of each other.
Next
open your photo and use your lasso tool to draw around
it. Use the feather tool to create a feather around
your photo. (See ice cube tutorial for how
to feather). Copy and paste your photo
into your canvas. Scale down to the size you neeed.
Add
your text
Type
My Daddy (or whatever you would like to add) and add
a style to it. To do this go to your styles palette
and select the buttons style. Choose beveled mousedown
(scroll over the styles to see the names). We used
Futura Bold font for the ice cubes. Then add the Happy
Father's Day text. We used Loki Cola font (and Times
New Roman for the apostrophe) for the text. Add the
same style to the "Happy Father's Day" text.
(You can use whatever fonts you like.)
