Hasbro and Discovery forming new Kids’ TV Network

Parents and kids will soon have another choice in children’s television.

Toymaker Hasbro Inc. and Discovery Communications have announced that they are partnering to form a new kids’ TV network.  The name for this new network is not yet decided.

The new network will feature Hasbro brands like G.I Joe, Transformers, and My Little Pony, Reuters reports.

Parents can expect to see the new network sometime at the end of 2010.  This network will be replacing Discovery channel’s current kids’ network, Discovery Kids, but parents can still expect to see some of their children’s favorite Discovery Kids’ shows on the new network.
