How to Make Stepping Stones

need:

  • stepping stone mix
  • cake pans( square or round)
  • water
  • measuring cup
  • wooden spoon or paint stick
  • glass stones,marbles
  • bucket
  • popcicle stick or old pen( to write with)

1- Pour mix into bucket.Add 2 cups of water mix well.If it is still dry add more water 2 teaspoons at a time.It should be thicker than cake mix.

2- Pour mixture into pans.Make sure they are level.

3- Now you have about 30 minutes to do your design.If useing marbles or broken glass ,make sure to push it half way into the mix.You can also use handprints,write words or sayings on them.

4- After you are done place them somewhere to dry that they can stay put for 24 hours.Do not move them for at least 12 hours or they may crack.
