We
will be creating a stitched looking fabric with realistic
holes cut under the stitching. Your finished product
will look something like this.

Step
1
Create
your vector shape. Use the preset shapes and select
the rounded rectangle shape. Draw out your rectangle
and click okay.
Next,
select your straight stitch brush and pick the color
you would like for your stitching in the material
palette. Run the Vector Paint script to place stitches
on your rectangle.

Change
your brush color to black and select the hole straight
stitching brush. Reselect your rectangle in the layer
palette. Run the Vector Paint script a second time.
Your
image should look something like this now.

Because
we would like our stitches to be on the inside of
our fabric we will need to resize our original rectangle.
Use the pick tool and resize your rectangle slightly
larger so the stitches are now inside of instead of
laying on the border of your rectangle.
