'Top Chef' Star Padma Lakshmi is Pregnant

Padma Lakshmi has reason to celebrate -- and it isn't because of a 5-star meal from one of the "Top Chef" contestants!

The 39-year-old model and TV star is pregnant with her first child, according to People. No word on who the father of the child is yet. Lakshmi was previously married to author Salman Rushdie.

According to the mag, this is especially good news for the raven-haired beauty, who has struggled over the years with endometriosis.
