Say what you will about Michael Jackson and his personal life. It was a mess. But no one can deny the impact he had on the world of music and pop culture. I have fond memories of my childhood and listening to his music. He was unique and troubled and the most amazing musician and dancer.
I am sad and in shock. I just felt the need to express it since my husband is not home and I have no one to hug.

I understand completely. I was at a concert when the singer of the band announced that he had died. The atmosphere in that concert hall was chilling. People cried. It was just a heavy sense of loss. The singer said a few words, and then the band played ABC on the fly as a tribute. He completely revolutionized pop music as we know it. I don’t think MTV would still be around if it weren’t for him. I hope people remember him as an artist who had perfected his art.
