It’s November!

Holy Cow! I can’t believe it is November already. Just last year, the day before Thanksgiving, I found out I was pregnant with Willow. Has it really been that long?

We will be spending Thanksgiving with family friends of ours, the people I was raised with. Since my mother in law and my sister in law are no longer in the picture (not on speaking terms), we don’t have to worry about splitting Holidays or any unwanted drama (hurray!). This was my husband’s decision of course, not mine, I just support him in his choices when it comes to family. My sister is going to her husband’s brother’s house for Turkey Day, which I don’t mind. I DO have to work on that day though! We all have to do a 4 hour shift, I just hope a get good hours so I don’t miss a big chunk of the day! Fat chance though, since I am the new girl and all.

I am at work as we speak actually. Now that it is getting colder, there are alot less people traveling. Some nights the 8 hours go by so fast, other nights they draaag. Tonight is dragging about bit, due to the time change. The clock says 8:45 but my body swears it is 9:45! Everyone was so excited, about getting an extra hour of sleep due to the change… not me! Or any mom I know for that matter. Kids don’t get the memo when it comes to Daylight Savings Time. They are going to get up the same as usual, which doesn’t help us out any. Oh well, hubby is trying to keep Willow up so she gets back on schedule, keeping my fingers crossed!
