Jeremy’s 10th birthday was yesterday.  I am just now getting to posting the birthday pics.  We had a very low key birthday for him at home.  We made the birthday cake together.  This is a tradition of ours.  My mom (actually my stepmom but I call both my moms, mom) used to let us decorate our own cakes.  I do the same with my kids.  I help though.  They get to give me the ideas they want for their cake and then we try to make it.

Jeremy wanted a cake that looked like a T-34 tank.  He is into army stuff.  This cake would have been better if I had just plopped a plastic tank on it with some soldiers but I tried to let him do what he wanted for the cake.  So here it is, Jeremy’s army birthday cake.

I used my Photoshop magic to make the tank look a tiny bit better.  I am not sure if it actually helped.  The tank didn’t turn out so well but Jeremy still liked it.  If I were to do this for someone else I would just put a plastic tank on it because the camo part turned out fine.

Oh and Jeremy got a Playstation 3 for his birthday.  So I think that makes up for the not so exciting party.
