I know the feeling! We have been dealing with ear infections with Kate (she will be 2 in April) since she was 8 months. I keep putting the tubes off.... but I know all the antibiotics aren't good either. She has passed her hearing tests, but does have a speech delay. We have started doing a lot of preventative stuff with Kate that has helped this past winter. Good luck!

i know the frustration that you are going threw. My daughter who is now almost 4 years old had tubes placed in her ears before her first birthday. I was so worried and scared but when it came time for the doctors to do it they allowed me in the room with her while she got the medication and until she feel a sleep. It worried me seeing her moving around one minute then the next sleeping, but in less then twenty min. later the doctor came out and told me she was awake and we just needed to keep an eye on her. For the rest of that day she pretty much slept, but i never regreated doing it because she only had one ear infection sence. The tubes fell out about two and a half years ago and its been sleep for me eversence.
