Surgery is over and she’s on the GI floor recovering. Her gtube and muscle biopsy sites look good. She had some pre-op hypoglycemia that required some fast action. She’s on morphine every 2 hours for pain. They are going to start her on continuous feeding 24 hrs a day for a month, which I wasn’t expecting. Thankfully she wears her backpack with no problems.
That’s about it tonight. She’s doing well, so I’m happy.
