How has your weekend been so far?! Our has been pretty awesome… My girls are watching Kung-Fu Panda, and we just finished having a great breakfast. It’s a chilly day out, and in a bit we are going to head over to grandmas to finish helping make tamales, which are a tradition in my family & culture. YUMMY!
Today I wanted to share with ya’ll another review of an awesome children’s toy that I actually stumbled upon because I won a gift card to Overstock.com a few months ago and didn’t know what to get. As you know, Overstock.com has so many different things to choose from: clothes to toys and dishes to linens. So I thought I would get the girls a Christmas gift (which I couldn’t wait till Christmas to give it to them). I saw BILIBO!
It looked like such a unique and different toy. I read up on it, and it was designed by engineers in Switzerland and had won many toy awards. My girls were perfect candidates, because at the time my 6 year old was taking kung-fu classes and needed to practice balancing. It also is great for creativity play for my toddler. Just look at all the cute things that can be done with it….
So as soon as the box was sitting in the dining room for about a day, I asked the girls if they wanted to open it… Of course, they said YES! I had chosen the red one, like the one pictured below, and they didn’t know what to do with it at first. The obvious was sitting on it. But now, it’s been about 5 months, and you can find them using it as a great toy, tool, chair, stool, basket and MORE!!
I’d have to agree with her. It is just a great toy for all ages. You can read more about it on their WEBSITE (which, luckily, is in English). You can buy it on many online retailers from $18 to about $30.
