Things are crazy here on the home front right now, so I’m trying to come up with quick and easy activities that will keep The Younger busy yet having fun. I came up with something today that fit the bill and wanted to share it. There is some great learning behind this!
I gathered:
- Index cards (but you can use any paper).
- Black marker.
- Set of dice.
I numbered the cards 1-12 and lay them on the table. I had The Younger roll the dice, count the dots, and then find the numbered card that matched the number she had counted. She loved it!
Number recognition, counting, and some adding that she didn’t even know that she was doing. So easy too! Definite activity for the future
