This story is brought to you by TYLENOL®
Pain relief may seem like it is within easy reach, but following the proper TYLENOL® dosage guidelines– for your back pain, a knee injury, or any
other reason — will help ensure that you’re easing your aches safely as well.
Whether you have frequent back pain or you are simply suffering from cold and flu symptoms, your need for pain relief may seem more important than
carefully following the acetaminophen dosage guidelines on the back of the medicine bottle. But paying attention to the dosing labels on TYLENOL®
and other medicines that include acetaminophen can help you avoid health complications such as liver damage.
More than 600 over-the-counter and prescription medications contain acetaminophen: TYLENOL®, Vicodin®, Percocet®, and NyQuil® to
name a few. When used as directed, acetaminophen is safe and effective. However, if you consume too much, it could lead to an overdose that could
result in liver damage. That’s why it’s important not to exceed the daily recommended acetaminophen dosage every time. You should always read and
follow your medicine labels and remember to take only one medicine at a time which contains acetaminophen.
Whether you are using pain relievers to combat knee pain, dental pain, or a headache, you can easily find out if the medicine you’re taking contains
acetaminophen at http://www.GetReliefResponsibly.com
With the ultimate goal of demonstrating that CARE INSPIRES CARE™, Johnson & Johnson asked grade-school children about the most caring thing
they have ever done for someone else. With the help of well-known children’s author Patricia Lakin, they then transformed the children’s stories into
actual children’s books, and surprised students with a copy of their book to read to their parents.
Johnson & Johnson wanted to show parents that they have a tremendous impact on instilling caring values in their children, who ultimately carry the
torch to become the next generation of care. And what J&J learned-from the parents and the children-is that the care you give really does multiply
and come back to the world.

I was in the grocery store recently and happened upon these brightly colored clothespins. I just loved them and knew I could use them for an activity. You don’t need to have colored clothespins for this preschool math activity. Any clothespins you have on hand will work.
You will need:
- 6 paint cups or other sturdy cups

I am a huge fan of warehouse clubs. The problem is sometimes I go overboard. I usually get more fruit than we end up consuming and I am stuck trying to figure out what to do with the rest. We freeze some of it for smoothies and use the rest in other recipes. This past week I bought blueberries, forgetting I already had some at home that were well on their way to mushiness. Since my kids love blueberry muffins I thought we could try making them. These easy blueberry muffins are sure to become one of our family favorite recipes. Read the rest of this entry »
One of our favorite mediums to create art is tissue paper. We have used it for so many fun kids activities such as Tissue Paper Turkey Craft and Coffee Filter Flowers Made With Tissue Paper. So when I was looking for a Valentine’s Day activity for my preschooler, I went back to my trusty tissue paper. What would Valentine’s Day be without hearts (and chocolate)? We didn’t use chocolate while making these tissue paper dyed hearts, but they are still pretty sweet. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.) The bleeding tissue paper dyes the hearts in bold, bright colors, making this a fun way to add some love to your home. Read the rest of this entry »
What I love about these Calming Bottles is how simple they are to make. You can make them yourself in a few minutes or have a toddler/preschooler help with the process. For a younger child, these glitter bottles make a great sensory toy. Kids get enthralled watching the glitter swirl around. If your kids are a little older (mine are 5 and 3) the bottles can be used in conjunction with a time out or cooling off period. The child simply shakes the bottle up and watches all of the glitter fall to the bottom. This takes approximately 2 1/2 minutes to occur. I wish I could take credit for this idea, but I got it at a recent MOPS meeting. After food and fellowship, my MOPS group made some Calming Bottles. When I brought home the one I made, my three kids argued over it which told me I was on to something.
You will need:
- Clear contact paper
- Acrylic paint
- Permanent marker
- Wax Paper
- Scotch Tape
- Large white construction paper
