When using templates in GIMP, can we not change the colors of the stars or anything?
After playing with it, I've got my pictures in the three boxes. For some reason, I still have dotted lines around the last box I put a picture in. I can't seem to get rid of it. So, when I try to fill the star with a different color, it just gives me the circle with a line through it, like I can't do it.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure you are on the right layer in the layer palette? I'm going to write a tutorial up on this soon, hopefully tomorrow. I just have been super busy today.
