Im on Apri birth control pills and was just given Levaquin for strep. I took my first dose tonight and I go off of my active pills tonight and will probably start my peiod in the next 4 or so days. My question is, since I will be on my inactive pill week anyways do I still need to use back up protection or am I fine? Also will I need to use protection for the first week back on the active pills since I only have a 10 day RX and probably wont finish with my period before this time? Thanks for you time!
