I have been on BC on and off for the past 4 years. Recently I was on the NuvaRing. I decided to stop using BC because DB and I dont DTD enough for me to spend the money on it.
Well we have had continual fights about TTC, and I am thinking about just going back on it.
One night we won't use protection and then like yesterday he does a complete 360 and gets all anal again about protection. Well the last time without protection was the day before my Ovulation, so maybe I'll get lucky!

Do you girls think it is a good idea for me to just go back on BC so I stop getting my hopes up?

I think you need to discuss it with your SO - tell him you are either TTC or your are going back on b/c - that him changing his mind all the time isn't fair on you & you want to know either way so you can stop getting your hopes up - or get yoru hopes up!

If you and him aren't having sex on the regular (2-4 times per week) and you don't want to keep paying for BC, then just stop all together. Make sure you tell him, and let him know condoms have to be used. Condoms are both your and his responsibility, so keep some with you, that way if he forgets you have them. However, I know there are spur of the moment nights when things get too hot to go get one, anyway..

Like Emma said, talk to him, let him know what's up. If he knows you're off it, and you get pregnant, he can't come at you and say he didn't know.

He knows I"m off it
