Last month I took a 1 month break off of my BCP Yasmin after being on it for over 5 years... I was switching pills so thats why I took the break.. My month off the pills my period came like normal on the Thursday and I started my new pills (sprintec) on the Sunday. Now my question is should DH and I have used backup protection because we didn't and now I'm a little worried.. huh.gif We dtd on CD 11,14, & 16 and I was actually late by a few hours (maybe more) in taking my pills on CD 8 & 10 wacko.gif I am starting to worry because basically my face is totally broken out and I have been nauseous the last few days, but that could also be side effects from the new pills blink.gif Yeah I know I am probably way over analyzing things, but I guess I'll just be waiting it out to see if AF shows up on Thanksgiving..... Any thoughts on all of this would be great!! biggrin.gif

If you would have taken them the first day of your period, you would have been fully protected. Since you didn't you should have used backup for the first week.

I wouldn't worry to much about it. They could be side effects like you said. I would wait and then take a test. Good Luck, and keep us posted!

It prob would have been a good idea to have used a back up. But since you started your pills 4 days after your period started, you should prob be fine. The only thing you can do it wait it out. It could like you said just be side effects of the birthcontrol pills you are taking now. I know that I have had that as a side effect still at certain times, I am taking Yasmin and have been for a couple years now. GL, and def keep us posted on whats going on!! biggrin.gif
