I am using PSP and I'm having trouble with text - it always turns out so.... faded - that is the best way I can describe it. I used black as my color with white outline around it. I just don't understand why it's so faded. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Do you have the opacity turned down? Make sure it's at 100%.

I change that on the layer palette correct? If so, I changed it to 100, but it is still appearing the same.
I'm new to PSP...
would it have anything to do with the stroke with setting, Miter limit or leading? I'm not sure what any of that does, but curious if that could have something to do with it?

You don't have gradient selected anywhere, do you? I don't know if it's my computer, but it almost looks like there are several shades of black/white going all thru it. Also, try asking in the Siggy Lounge subforum, it gets more traffic than here, I think :)

I don't think so? I created a new palette and checked under gradient - I made sure it was solid black. It was still doing the same thing. It's a mystery

I'll try over in the lounge - I wasn't sure if I had the right place. Thank you!
