Hello all i haven't been on here in awhile but been around JM. it's been a crazy month. on Jan 17 my boyfriend was at work ( he is a cop ) and was on his way to a job and was hit by another cop car. thankfully he and everyone else were okay. my SO was in the hospital for a day and a half. he just hurt his ribs dind't break anything .

he has been out of work since the 17th.
then last week i had to go pick up pito from school cause of this

the right side of his face was swollen. turns out he has an infection in his tooth and needs it removed.

i posted last week about pito's tooth well we went to a dentist that told us it need to be removed so she referred us to an oral surgeon. well he looked at it and because he is 4 yrs old and had PDD-nos he didn't want to take the change and removing it in the office so he referred us to north shore hospital dental department . well the dental department is like down the block from the hospital it's self. we went on Tuesday just me & pito David had to see his doc that same day. well they had to do x-rays well he was to short for the machine so they where going to take pics another way. well i couldn't even be in the room cause i'm Pregnant . well pito is balling cause all this people are making him open his mouth and mommy is not there. the doc said he needed to be taken out i all ready know that. they said what they can do is put pito in this thing where it holds down his arms and feet so he can't move and then remove the tooth. with him awake. they would give him something to num the area buts thats all they can do , and i can't be in the room with him cause i'm Pregnant. i didn't not want that cause if i'm not in there he is going ot go crazy. so the doc said they can put him to sleep and do the work BUT it has to go on a waiting list for about 3-4 months for that. all this crap we have gone through just to take out a tooth. we put him on the waiting list, but the only thing is that the tooth can get worse again. so i have a few places to call to see what they can do maybe they can remove it sooner. i feel so guilty casue if i would have taken him to a dentist sooner this would never have happened.

another update pito has been improving with his speech asking for things more by name we have parent teacher conference next week so will see what his teacher says

Wow sounds like you had a rough time of it! Poor Pito. But I'm glad he has been improving in his speech. I hope your boyfriend feels better quickly.

Oh my, your family has had a difficult month! I'm glad your boyfriend is going to be okay, how scary! Poor Pito with his tooth trouble, that's awful they can't bump him up the wait list - being a child you'd think they would - I'd give up my spot for a kid I hope he can get it taken care of soon! Don't feel guilty - you couldn't have known (((hugs)))
