I just had my 3rd. My 1st was breech & didn't turn w/ the ECV.

I've had 2 and I'm done.

I've only had one. We have one child. My doctor suggested a csection because my son was measuring really big at 35 weeks. I also had high blood pressure during pregnancy. so, i don't think she thought I could tolerate labor very well. She's probably right.

If we have another baby I will have another csection. I will only have 2 kids though.

I have had 3. My first his heart rate dropped and it was an emergency, the other two were repeat. I plan on having one more in 2-3 years.

I have had 1
Britanie
I've had 1 due to a placenta abruption.
Elianna
I had my 1st a week ago, and it was because I had a fever, my blood count was dropping, my heart rate was high, and all was pointing to a possible placental abruption (since I had a bleeding incident at 19 weeks)
Dan's wife
I've had 2. My 1st was because he was breech, my 2nd was because my hospital doesn't do vbac's anymore. Even if they did she would've still be a c-section anyway because she was breech too.

1 and done!

She was distressed.

I've had two. My third, God willing, will be in September, then I am DONE! It's NFP time for us...we are donnnnnnnne making babies!!!

My second daughter was breech, and I wasn't willing to risk an inversion. Third was a repeat, but I was also SO stressed from having lost Mom...it was the better choice for me.

I will be having my second in 4 weeks. My first was because of fetal distress (heartrate drops and no progress down the birth canal despite and hour of pushing). He was tangled in his cord so he couldn't descend and the cord was being compressed with pushing causing the heartrate drops. He was completely stuck!

I have had one due to placenta abruption. I would love to try for a vbac with my next kid(s) but we will see.

I've had two and will have my third in July. My first time was an emergency c-section. My son already had severe complications and we didn't know if he would survive birth. He had stopped moving, heart rate had dropped, etc.... I was put completely under and they did the c-section. His apgar was a 1 -- he just had a very slow heartbeat, was blue, not breathing, etc.. They told me they almost lost him. My second was a repeat b/c the pregnancies were close together and b/c I found out my pelvic structure would not have allowed for me to have a vaginal birth. Noah was stuck and came out with a nice ring around his head.

I've had one. The other twin that passed away was still inside of me, and I did NOT want to deliver him vaginally. I just couldn't have dealt with that. My son also has had so many problems during my pregnancy, that I didn't want to risk anything happening to him during a vaginal delivery.

I have had one. I was in labor for 24 hours and pushed for 3 1/2 but her head was just too big. I am having a repeat in September b/c I can't imagine going through that again and DD was in NICU for 5 days due to severe bruising on her whole head from pushing that long. So I don't want the risk to me or this baby!

i have had it was elective because of back issues that i have from cheerleading in High School but i ended up laboring for about 13-14 hours before they did my cestion. if there is a next time around then it will be a repeat.

#1 was breech and my water had broken at 35wks, #2 and #3 were easy vbacs, the twins 4 and 5 were Csection #2 because they were breech. #6 will be a repeat C as my uterine scar with the twins was ready to rupture. It was very thin and see thru. They could see baby A thru it.

I've had 4. The first b/c of failure to progress, his position, my blood pressure, etc... there were many factors. The other 3 were repeats b/c our hospital doesn't allow VBAC's. #2 had the cord 2x aroud his neck and #3 was breech so they would most likely have ended in C's even I had attempted VBACs.

Just one, because my dd wanted to come out ear-first. laugh.gif

I hope that everything will line up and I will be able to vbac any future kiddos. I was not happy with the whole experience and don't want another surgical recovery unless necessary.

I've unfortunately had 3. All unnecessary. If I have any more, I will have a HBA3C (home birth after 3 cesareans).

1st - I wasn't in labor, they pushed pitocin and laid me in bed. Obviously I didn't progress. My body wasn't ready and I was doing nothing to help it move along. They literally forced my labor by then breaking my water, then overdosed me on demoral. I dont remember signing off OK to a c-section, but next thing I know, 3 1/2 hours later, I'm in the recover room and do'nt know where my baby is.

2nd - planned, lack of information about my other options.

3rd - amazing VBAC attempt! Unfortunately, the doctor put in a foley catheter to help dilation and it ended up breaking my water. I will never know for sure, but I feel that it brought my dd down sooner than she was ready to and caused her to lodge transversly in my pelvis. I labored for a total of 2 days, 24 hours in the hospital and 14 of them at 7 cm. I was determined and feeling GREAT! I was doing excellent, baby girl was doing excellent..not even a blip in her HB as I contracted, she was steady as a rock. Even the nurse cried when she realizd I was going to have a c-section. It wasn't an emergency, it was just time. The doc said he would have turned her manually (which I was fine with) if I could get to 10, but her head wouldn't decende enough to put the pressure needed on my cervix to dilate anymore.

Everytime I let the doctors touch me, it seems to go south....so next time I will birth at home or with a midwife in a center. No more interventions for me grin.gif However, we think we're done for good. I also don't trust my state of mind if something happens and I need another c-section.

My first was a section for frank breech presentation.
My second was a successful VBAC delivery! woot!
My third was a section for footling breech presentation.
I just deliverd my fourth by section which was scheduled due to having two previous sections.
