did you have numbness for? I can not stand to be touched anywhere near my c-section scar. Ugh, its like nails on a chalkboard for me! lol! The area that is numb is a lot smaller than right after I had her. I know that there is a chance I will never regain feeling there, but I have hope! haha.

I regained all feeling after my first section around 6 months PP, after my second one though, I still have some numbness that I am assuming will only get worse following my 3rd in Sept.
MrsStuartD
I don't have that feeling anymore and I'm 14months PPfrom #2.
Marie_R_2008
Mine was around 9 months and then it was fine
linzmomof2
I'm 7 months PP and I still have about a 2 inch radius of numbness around my scar. When I had my U/S for baby number 2, it was the weirdest feeling having them go over that spot, It was like EEK lol

I think I was about 6 months PP before the numbness went away completely. The numbness feeling drove me crazy!

I still have about a two inch section that is numb to light touch. I can feel the pressure over it but if I gently brush my fingers across my abdomen across my scar it feels really weird when I hit the numb patch. But I don't have that nails on a chalkboard feeling anymore, and it's been almost two years. I guess sometimes you never get it back, though. I had surgery in my jaw 13 years ago and I still have a numb area as a result of it.

Mine is slowly getting less and less numb. I would say I still have a little numbness right around the scar but it's definitely better than even a few months ago. I'm a little over 12 months pp.

I'm 7 weeks PP, and I'm numb above and below my incision. I hate touching it...it's so weird feeling! My doctor told me this the other day--
Whatever your incision feels like at month 6 PP (hardness, numbness)..that's probably how it will be permanantly
Raye
I'm still numb. They said it may never go away. dry.gif

Are you serious??? mellow.gif It's was hard 6 weeks PP and now it isn't.....also it was more numb and now the numb feeling is only on the right side.....I don't think that is the case....grin.gif......well i don't expect it to be as it was before pregnancy but it already feels much better than 6 weeks PP....although i think that right side numb feeling will indeed remain forever.....sad.gif DH kisses it sometimes and it feels awkward and nasty ......yack...... shrugs.gif

I think you may have read it wrong..6 MONTHS PP, not 6 weeks, lol. But I'm like you, mine has changed so much, except for the numb part. It was soft, got hard, now it's soft again.
I'm jealous your numbness is only on one side! dry.gif

I'm 3 years out from my last one and I'm still numb in areas. I have a really bad rash above the scar line and didn't feel it at all because I don't feel that area at all tongue.gif I'm used to it.
Deondra
I have never had any numbness. I get red and irritated, which may be worse then numb.
~**rach**~
I can not remember when it went away with my first! I am still really numb right now and I figure I will be for a while!
mothra
i still have it, and i feel the same about it as you...can't stand to touch it! my mom had 3 sections, me being her last 23 years ago...and she says she still has the numbness unsure.gif i hate that i might have to live with it forever.
