My husband couldn't ever wait 6 weeks *innocent* but everything else I wait 6 weeks on. I don't even drive for at least a month after...I take my time and don't push it.

drive: Other - I was not told to stop driving. I drove the day after I left the hospital
lifting - 6 weeks
exercise - 6 weeks
Sex - dh has a low sex drive so it wasn't a high priority. My doc never specified though.

Mine are all six weeks except driving was 2 weeks. Someone on another board of mine said she was given the okay to exercise after two weeks. I kind of thought that was early, especially since I tried exercising after five weeks and now regret it (pain).

6 weeks is usually the high mark but thing is on some of those i waited longer and some i did earlier judging by how i felt and not only what the doc said.....

Everything was 6 weeks except driving. Driving was 2 weeks.
I walked every day though because i was told it would help me heal. I didn't power walk or anything. i went slow and did what my body could handle.

My dr said I could drive once I was off of the pain meds, so I was driving a few days later. Lifting he said about 4 weeks but I only waited a few days to lift Keith. There was just several times when Dh was at work and I had to lift Keith into his crib or out so I didn't really have a choice. Exercise and sex I waited 6 weeks.

the only things that were 6 weeks for me was excersizing and lifting. other than that it was as i felt comfortable.
