Did your husband take a few weeks off work after your c section to help out? Or less than that? Or a few days?
Mine did not get much time off. MIL helped out a lot though.

My dh took 2weeks off with our first and he took 1 week off with our second. But he works from home so it's not like he misses out on anything.

My husband is able to shape his schedule to meet his needs, so when I need him, he's there. He'll help get the other kids ready for school, but other than that, I'm ok mostly. It's not like I'm going to clean the house...lol

My FH's job is fairly flexible, but he really didn't have to take a lot of time off because my mom came for a week and then the day she left my ILs came for a week so he only took the days I was in the hospital off plus his regularly scheduled days. That's exactly how it's going to work this time too.

My hubby took 2 weeks of from the day of the surgery until 2 weeks later. I was in the hospital for 4 days. so, he was home for about a week and a half with me. By that time I felt really well and I was comfortable being at home with the baby during the day. He took three weeks off from his part time night job because I was nervous about being home alone with the baby all day long and night. :)

My DH was able to take 2 weeks off

well i went into labor thursday morning and he was born friday night - so he had those two days, then the weekend, then we came home on monday, and he was back to work on tuesday, unfortunately. it was the middle of the summer & really busy so he had to get back to work.

she was born on a tuesday and he only took that day off (and he went home slept part of that since we had been up ALL night). he is the production manager at our family owned business, so he wasn't able to take off - have to keep the plant running.
he was at work the rest of the week. i got out of the hospital on thursday and his mom took the baby and i home. on friday i was home by myself with her & it wasn't too bad.

DH only got 2 weeks off with DD#1 (first week being while I was in the hospital) mom and MIL helped for 2 more weeks.

He got 3 weeks off with the second. MIL and mom took turned staying with me at the hospital so he could start that when I got home. It worked out better because I had more help longer. Specially since I already had a 3 year old running around lol
