Get your tubes tied or have DH/ SO get a vascetomy??

I don't think I could do it. It's too perminant to me. I would always wander if I was meant to have any more kids. Right now I'm not 100% sure that we are finished yet. Maybe that will change later on.

I understand what your saying, it is too permanate! But at the same time I don't want to have alot of babies running around here lol. Ive told many people they should get thier tubes tied, but that is after having loads of children by the age of 21 (CRAZY). But I dont know if I would have the balls to do something so permanate. I asked my DF if he would ever get a vasectomy and his anwser was "I AM NOT GETTING SNIPPED ON" LOL Which I dont blame him. But why does the female need to always get cut on?? LOL

I dont know really. I know that the vascetomy is reversable so if Kenric was to get that done and we later decided to have another baby ( which i dont think would happen ) then i know that it can be changed, but then again i dont think i could make him go through all the trouble of having it done just to get it reversed, so if he was to get done then it would stay that way.

As for getting my tubes tied, again i'm not sure, if i was to have a c-section and i knew for sure that the baby was my last then maybe i would, but if i can prevent surgery then i wouldnt get done.

Its a big decision to make.

I know I'm not going to be done having children anytime soon (despite what I said while I was in labor!) so I haven't given it much consideration.

I did ask DF once if he would get snipped, and he was pretty blatant with his answer : NO WAY!

Dh wants to get a vasectomy now. I told him he couldn't, not until the new year. I'm still hoping for one more kid. I would NEVER get my tubes tied. Way too permanent.

Dh will get a vasectomy when we're done having kids. He wanted to get one after the first, but I told him absolutely not! He asks me at least once a week if he can get one, the answer is a big resounding-not yet! I have an IUD for now.

Yep... I'll be having another c-section with #2, so I'll have mine tied while I'm in surgery. We can only afford 2 kids right now. We've considered adopting in about 10 years though. We're thinking of adopting a couple of older "hard to place" children who would be about the same age as Ben and our future baby at that time. There are just so many kids out there who need good homes!

Its not something I would consider any time soon, except during one of many hormonal rants lol. But down the road one of us will probably have one done.

No, I'd never get my tubes tied. I did consider it with my last pregnancy, but decided it was too permanent... and I've heard too many stories about problems afterwards. We are planning on 1 more in about 2-3 years, and if after that, dh wants to get a V, that's fine by me. He says he will, but I seriously doubt he'll go through with it. I'll just get an IUD.

I am sooo getting steralized this time. We decided four is enough. No Tubal though, We are doing the Essure coils which require no srg and cryoablation whitch will end my periods, weeeee. Freedom

Nope. Too many risks either way, and it's completely against our faith. I like that the possibility of more children will always be up for discussion, until it's no longer possible.

DF has already volunteered to have a vasectomy after we have #2, if we ever do.
