So I started my flow on Thursday, the 14th first thing in the morning First cycle after having a baby. My Dr. told me I could start my B/C pills that day. I went and picked them up (Triphasil cyclette) and took the first one at 4pm. Isn't your flow suppose to stop when you start taking B/C. It has been 5 days and my flow is still heavy (I start the second colour of 3 pills tomorrow) I am feeling like crap and there's no end in sight. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice?

Your flow won't necessarly stop when you start taking your bcp. It's also your first AF after having your daughter, so it's going to be on the heavy side anyway. Hang in there and in a few months your cycle should regulate!!

Sounds like me. I had my baby in June. I didnt get my first AF until Aug. I started my BC the sunday following my period. I stopped bleeding for a few days, and then it started back up. And here it is Sept. 19, and I am STILL bleeding. I called the DR and she said " Keep taking your BC, its normal to bleed for the first 3 months." So I still have 2 more months of this. I am tired of it!!!!! UUHHHHH I HATE THIS!!! lol sorry for my quick vent.

I started bc after my 6 week pp checkup and bled for the entire month...after having already bled for nearly 6 weeks!
