Hey everyone. Im not one for taking meds at all...but my doctor has given me YASMIN to correct some of my period problems and prevent pregnancy. Has anyone taken this? What was your experience like? Did you have a lot of side effects, like headaches, nausea, bleeding??? Im so scared of the side effects and it making me sick or not working. Any input would be great!! Thanks!

FWIW, Yasmin won't correct any menstral problems, it will simply cover them up.

As for side effects, the only way to know how you will respond to them is to wait and see. Sorry!

Some people are more sensitive to hormone birth control than others. Some have side effects while others dont. The only way you will know is if you take them. I've used bcp but not Yasmin and I've never had any problems with it. I found the website for Yasmin. Hopefully you won't have any side effects.
