If you've been pregnant were your pregnancies planned or unplanned?? Were you using any birth control when you got pregnant??

Jordan wasn't planned. I had just stopped using the pill and I was getting ready to get back on it. One time without a condom!!!
Jayden was planned. Only took us one cycle.
Christian was planned as well. It took us about 5 months including a pregnancy which ended in a m/c.

They were both planned. Zack came the first month we tried and with Ethan we were planning to start trying in Feb, but my bcp prescription ran out in Dec, so even tho we weren't trying, we weren't preventing either. We got preggo in Dec.

Logan wasnt planned but he wasnt unplanned lol We tried for a little while and nothing happened, and shortly after we stopped trying, I found out I was pregnant. He was very much welcomed! But that dreadful morning sickness wasnt!

Ben was planned... took us a year TTC.

Joshua was unplanned, but I wouldn't change it for the world. We were using condoms, and one broke.

Jake wasn't planned.... I was using NFP, and obviously screwed it up .

Shane and Brynne were both planned.

I really hate labelling kids as "planned" or "unplanned" - like if we'd ever had an "unplanned" one, it would be less deserving of his/her life than a "planned" one.

So will answer this way: have we had any suprises while using NFP? Nope.

Max was unplanned, I was taken off my bc on November 4th which was also my b-day and my LMP before getting pregnant. I get migraines and at the time I was a smoker so i couldnt be on b/c The guy I was with took off the condom and didn't tell me that he had. Nice guy huh, I love my son to death and wouldnt change having him for anything!!!!. I know have the Mirena IUD in and my next baby if I ever get brave enough to get pregnant again(i had a horrilbe pregnancy and delivery that ended in a emergency c-section), will be planned.

I'd say my daughter was planned only because I wasn't on bc and we weren't doing anything to prevent. I had had 2 miscarriages previously, one the condom broke, the second I got pregnant on the mini pill (I was on antibitotics, so yes, they really DO reduce effectiveness!). After my second miscarriage I think my now ex thought I wouldn't be able to stay pregnant or something. I'm so glad I did, I'm thankful everyday for my daughter. But I really want a planned child next, if my bf ever changes his mind about having one more.

James did not mind if we had a baby he was just not willing to try, so we used the pullout method and now we have our beautiful baby

Andrew wasn't a planned pregnancy. My situation was the same as Angie's with Jordan.

Connor was a huge surprise! I was on the pill.

Ashlyn was planned. I was on the pill for 5 years and when DH and I decided the time was right, I finished my last pack of pills and got a BFP two days before I was due to start AF again.

We're still waiting to TTC #2...maybe in January. Had been using Nuvaring (and loved it!) but decided to stop in preparation of TTc in a few months.

Alisha was a big surprise for us. Even though we never used birth control, I knew it would be highly unlikely that I would get pregnant. We were in the mindset that it would be fine if we had a baby and fine if we didn't. But we had finally just decided that DF would get a vasectomy because we didn't need a baby to make our life together complete. Less than a week later, I found out I was pregnant. I guess the vasectomy was a little late, huh?

Hayden was unplanned. I wouldn't change having him for anything, but it was pretty stupid of us. We weren't in a relantionship and had only known each other 6 weeks when I found out I was. One time without a condom.

I want the next one to be planned, only because I know how hard it is to have that kind of surprise. Although it wouldn't be an unwelcome surprise if it did happen again unplanned.

First was ehhh... My ex fiance and I wanted a baby and we wanted to try for one but at that time I conceived, I wasn't necessarily trying. My second was a complete surprise.

Brandon was 200% planned. We'd been married about 2 months but hadn't been together so there was no birth control involved. Once I had him though I went on the pill and been on it ever since plus hubby had a vasectomy almost 3 years ago, so no more planned or unplanned for us.

Travis was planned. I was on the pill/patch for 3 years, stopped taking it about 2 months before DH and I got married and thought I'd get pregnant right away......took us a year and a half to conceive.

New baby boy was also planned though we thought it would take a lot longer to get him. Was on the pill for 1 month to regulate periods, back off to get ready to TTC, got pregnant the first month without even putting any thought into trying. LOL.

After this pregnancy I am going to look into NuvaRing or IUD since we dont plan to TTC again for a couple years.
