How do I get my pictures or images to rotate? I use PSP 8 and whenever I paste images or pics they just are level I can't get them to rotate! I even tried doing the way they do it in lesson one (with the bear picture) and no matter if I paste it as a new layer or a new selection, I can't get it to turn! What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting I'm missing or something?

Okay open your picture go to image then go to rotate canvas then it gives you options. I found this on the net http://www.twebmaster.com/images/photoshop/button8.JPG

When I go to ROTATE there is no "rotate canvas" all there is is "Free rotate". My selection tool isn't working the right way so I can't do it that way either!

Nope that doesn't work either, my pan tool no longer looks like the little arrow when I have it over an image and it does absolutely nothing....
