Yesterday I picked DS out of the bath and suddenly felt all dizzy. I usually blow dry him but couldnt this time and took him straight to bed with me. I tried to lie down but I felt sick. I was sick a bit later also felt a bit hot and had slight diarreah. Could this be the birth control causing this or is it something else?

The only side effect that I had on the mini-pill was depression.

Breakthrough bleeding was the only problem I had. Sounds more like you've picked up a bug to me.

I tend to agree with the other ladies. Sounds like you have a stomach bug. I didn't have any side effects from taking the mini pill.

I've been on the Mini Pill for about a year and the only side effect that I've had is a little bleeding.

Depression, weight gain, super cranky....but not dizziness...I think it may have been a bug or something you ate...feel better!

I had breakthrough bleeding and hot flashes. Then I got pregnant while still taking it. May try something else next time.

How are you feeling now?? Hope it was just the stomach bug.

Im much better! I figure it was a bug. I stopped taking the pill though and will use condoms till I stop breastfeeding and can go back to the regular pill
