I am currently on my first cycle of the pill, after having my daughter in October.

I have finished my first pack & am two (sugar) pills into the 2nd pack (will be 3rd pill tonight)... and my period has yet to return.

I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, I had peed an hour before doing the test (ie i peed an hour before I peed to do the test) - so i'm not sure if that effects the accuracy/level of hcg in the urine?

as I have said, my pill tonight will be the 4th sugar pill. Last time I was on the pill, my period *always* started on the day that I started the new pack. I can't remember off the top of my head how many sugar pills I had taken before AF arrived.

I'm just a bit confused, and a little bit worried i could be pregnant again... I don't think I have any symptoms, if ido the only one is tiredness, but with an infant that is pretty normal anyway huh! I also have a lot of discharge, but I'm not sure what's 'normal' for CM when on the pill anyway.....

I might get a test tonight to do tomorrow with FMU so that I at least know the test will be accurate

Your body has likely changed a bit since you had your baby, so that could be a factor.

As for the discharge, the pill irritates the cervix so that it will not produce the good quality mucus. The result is thick or creamy or sticky discharge. So, it's a normal side effect of the pill.

thanks Shawna... I never really paid attn to what my CM did when I was on the pill last time, but because of TTC etc, it is just force of habit to check now!

Have you had an AF since you had your daughter??

Most likely your body is adjusting to the pills and just having your daughter. Give it a few cycles to adjust.
