Has anyone taken Allegra for allergies during pregnancy? Benadry doesn't seem to be doing it for me and I am dying of sneezing. It is classified as category C but if folks are using it without a problem, then it should be fine. Also sometimes when I sneeze, I feel a sharp spasm in the ovaries which disappers in 3-4 seconds. Has anyone felt that?

I take prescription Claritin which is totally fine, Zyrtec is as well. I have horrible allergies all year round but for some reason they get worse during pregnancy! I also get that sharp pain while sneezing, I think its round ligament pain...

Thanks. I learnt something new - round ligament pain. I guess I'll hold off on Allegra. Zyrtek stopped working on me a while ago and Claritin never did. I'll call my allergist tomorrow.

Claritin and Zyrtec are the preferred ones if you have to take anything. I've been taking Claritin for a few weeks now. The Claritin definately isnt working as well as it used to but takes the edge off.
