so i take Trinessa Otho Tri Cyclen and i've been taking it since MArch 18. I never missed a pill and i always took it @ exactly 630. Well one day i didn't get to take it til 645 and another not until about 659. Does that affect anything? i finally got the nerve to dtd w/ DF w/ no cnodom on Monday and immediately started freaking out because of this.

You should be ok. I can never remember to take mine at the same time every day and I have not had any worries!

No, everything should be just fine. It's not a big deal to vary the time a bit as long as you're taking one every 24 hours at least. They only say to take it at the same time so that it establishes a routine that won't let you forget to take it each day and so that you don't take them really close together which could compromise the effectiveness. And if you forget to take one, they advise you to take two on the same day and that's good enough to make them just as effective. So that kinda proves it's not a huge deal to vary the times.

I always take mine within 2 hours. Never had a problem. Like, I'm supposed to take it "at lunch." That can be anytime between 11 and 1. Sometimes I forget and take it at dinner instead. I've never had a problem doing that.

I agree with the others. You'll be ok. The only one you want to take at the exact same time is the mini pill.
