Hi i'm Amber i am 34 weeks preganat and thought i would start thinking about birth control. Been reading all the post and they seem helpful. I will be breastfeeding so i am looking for a birth control that is safe for my baby.

The mini-pill is considered safe to use while BF'ing. But if you'd like something with no hormones, I'd recommend any of the barrier methods such as the sponge, the diaphragm, contraceptive foam, or condoms.

With proper training, modern methods of Natural Family Planning are highly reliable (96-99% depending on which method it is), and definitely safe while breastfeeding. No hormones, goop, gunk, or gadgets.

Your safe with the mini pill, barrier methods, or an IUD.

GL deciding and congrats on your upcoming birth!!
