I just had my baby on 4/23, I go in for my 6 week check-up on June 7--I am wanting to go on birth control but have no clue what is even available any more. I was on birth control at age 16 so it's been 8 years since I have even looked in to the types that are available. Any suggestions of a good birth control with few side effects, especially weight gain.

I have the Paragard IUD and I love it!!! This IUD is good for 10 years and contains no hormones. The good part that if you ever decide to start TTC, you can get it taken out and start TTC right away.
