Hey Ladies! I am new to this board...
My name is Mandie. I turn 20 this Aug. 26th. I am married...Been married
since May 6 2006 and
I just recently had my baby May 10 2007.
I missed my PP check-up and rescheduled it
for this Friday... I was wondering if any of you
ladies recommend any type of birth control or what
you dont recommend by your experiences or what you heard.
I am kinda oblivious to it all...
TIA!
..Jessica..

Welcome to the board!!!
Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy!!! He looks so cute from your siggy!!!
There are several topics going on now about Depo and other types of birth control. I personally do NOT recommend Depo! I've considered the patch, and IUD. The pill isn't for me - got pregnant on it! Plus, if you don't remember to take it everyday it sort of defeats the purpose of it!
HTH!!!
ETA - I'm Jessica (20) my bf is Dwayne (29) I had a miscarriage on June 15th after 5 weeks and 1 day of being pregnant. I was using Alesse when I got pregnant too!!!

Welcome to the birth control forum!!! Congrats on your son!!! He's a cutie!!
I've used bcp, the patch and right now I have an IUD. Out of those 3 I like the patch and IUD. Taking a pill every day is too hard for me to remember to do. I like the patch because it put me on a predictable AF schedule and it was easy to use. I like the IUD because I don't have to do anything and because it was the cheapest overall birth control for us.
If your planning on having another within the next 2 years or so I would recommend the patch, if your going to wait awhile before you have any more (or if your not having any more) than I recommend the IUD.
I have both of those birth control listed in the Helpful Websites sticky.
