If you've used condoms do you love um or hate um??

I like them because I've not had any issues when we used them but they do kinda ruin the mood. I don't think I could use them as my full time bc.

I hate them, every time I have used them I get a yeast infection. Not my choice of BC.

hate them. I truly feel that they take away from the whole experience from the stopping to open one up (and most times it seems like they don't want to open), the time it takes to make sure you're putting it on right, right up to how it feels. Plus I have to be careful not to get ones with spermicide since I used spermicide once and found I'm allergic to it. Then it's a real bummer when you and partner are in the mood only to find out that you don't have any more. I'm so glad I got the IUD.

They dont bother me. I dont usually use the latex one only the polyurethane, because latex makes me itch. They are the only bc we use during fertile times.

HATE THEM.

I have mixed feelings about them. I like how they make clean up a lot easier, but I don't like having that extra layer between DH and I. I think that reduces sensation for both partners.

HATE HATE HATE. If it comes down to either sex with a condom, or abstinence, we usually choose abstinence, lol.

Hate, hate, HATE them! I'd rather go no sex, than use those nasty things...

I absolutely hate them, as does DH. They ruin the mood, IMO, they STINK and I like it better au natural!

never used them! Df is allergic, not to mention we both hate having something in between us like that.

Hate them, we used them a couple of times when we had to before I could get birth control at 6 week check up. They do take away for the pleasure.

Same here! I hate the smell so much. We went through a season where I didn't have insurance so no BC and we had to use condoms exclusively Sure wasn't much happening during those few months!

Wow I didn't realize how many people hate them like I do! I honestly feel like they hurt me They definitely don't feel the same.

we have not touched a condom for almost 4 years...ruin the mood totally.

my dh used one for the first time ever last night...i am not into them really cause it does damper the mood but we wanted to try it out. lol on the plus side and this is tmi...i didn't have to worry about making a mess! i roled over, satisfied and content, without having to keep my legs together and butt in the air!! it was nice

We never use condoms

I have never NOT used a condom. My husband has also never NOT used one. Even when I was on the pill/patch/shot/ring I still used it as back up and to protect from STDs. I have been married since Sept 2006 and we will be trying to conceive this June. By the sound of it from you ladies, I should maybe be looking forward to the lack of condom just as much as the pregnancy LOL.
I guess I don't know what i am missing yet. I do love the fact that I don't have clean up duty though and I can just roll over and go to sleep.

I hate em'!

I actually really like condoms. I was always on BCP, but we were certain we were not ready for a baby so DH always wore condoms in addition to me taking the pill, so I guess we both were just used to them. Now that we are TTC and I have seen the affects the BCP were having on me, I don't think I will ever go back on them. We will probably just always use condoms after we have our baby.

I love them and dh hates them! I love them because they make things "less messy" .
