Thatcher has 16 of his 20 baby teeth. I'm wondering if the second year molars might come in soon b/c he keeps trying to eat his hand.

I think Alex's are coming in. He's been gnawy for a while.

Ben is working on his and has been for a month or so now. They are a pain for the kid and parent!

What are the two year molars? Bea has 16 teeth but I don't know what comes next. Do the 2 yr molars complete the set until they start to fall out? I hate that she already has 2 teeth chipped.

Trey is working on getting his upper molar in. He's been drooling like crazy when he eats!

I didnt know they were meant to get a second set of molars. Now Im not sure if Jehan has them all. He just got his canines. So I think overall he has 16 teeth....I'll check again but Im pretty sure he doesnt have his second set of molars.

no not yet...we're still working on the top i-teeth.......they've been coming in since May!

I don't think so, but I don't have a clue. lol. She's got all her teeth except those ones, as far as I know.

Not yet, but she has started chewing on a finger where they will be coming in. So I know they are starting to move, but I am sure it will be a few months till they pop.

Ben's working HARD on his too. Poor guy! I felt back there, but I can't tell anything yet. I think they're just moving around a bit is all.

I think that might be our problem as well. He as #16 coming in but he's bitting on his hand on the other side of his mouth then from that tooth

Yep, exactly. Their baby set consists of 20 teeth; 8 of those are molars. Thatcher has had his first 4 molars for several months now. Those last 4 molars (aka the second year molars) are the only teeth we're still waiting on.Here is a great diagram that shows all the teeth, and the age range in which they usually appear.

Connor has 16 too. No idea if he's working on his 2 yr molars. I never know if he's teething until they pop through.

I'm confused though! I've always used this baby tooth chart from Anbesol and it shows more molars coming in at 6 yrs.

Kaeli doest have hers yet.......she only has 12 teeth.

It says that those last molars are the first permanent teeth we get... so I guess they pop through while we still have baby teeth, but they're actually part of the permanent set. I guess it makes sense that the baby teeth and permanent teeth timelines overlap... otherwise we'd go through a phase without any teeth at all!

Ethan is getting his....and is in some serious pain...in fact he will hold the side of his jaw and tell us owie owie....

A few nights now he will also let out a pain scream too.....soooo sad

Doh! I looked at both charts like 10 times and somehow never noticed where they have the 6 yr molars (in white) on your chart. No idea how I missed that!
