im just starting with the tutorials and im in PSP and I cant find the photo effects! all i have is image effect and reflection effects! HELP i cant make my photo b&w

What version of PSP do you have?

OK, I've never used that version, but I do know someone who has. I'll PM her and ask her to take a look at this thread to see if she can help.

I use psp and if you go under IMAGE you should be able to select grayscale. That will auto. turn the photo B&W. HTH!

If I remember well though when you use grayscale it turns all layers to black and white, doesn't it? It's been a while since I used it. I use to do channel mixer, monochrome instead... I think it's under adjust, color balance, channel mixer. Click on monochrome, and to get good contrast play with the sliders until you like what you see.

Let me know if this doesn't work since I can't check it I don't have psp anymore but I do think dh might on his work laptop and I can check it later if you need me to.
