It's a Boy for Maya Rudolph

(July 20, 2011) Maya Rudolph and Paul Thomas Anderson welcomed a son named Jack on July 3rd, her rep told People.com. 

The 38-year-old actress and former Saturday Night Live cast member was very excited to find out the sex of her new baby.  She and Anderson decided to wait until the baby was born to find out his gender.

"The exciting part is not knowing who's coming," she told People. "You have to wait nine months for a surprise, but then it's a good payoff because it really is a surprise."

Jack is the third child for Rudolph and Anderson.  He joins sisters Pearl, 5, and Lucille, 20 months.
