"The Help" Star Viola Davis About to Adopt

(August 11, 2011) Viola Davis, 45, and her husband Julius Tennon talked to E! News about their plan to adopt a new baby. The couple announced the big news while walking down the red carpet at the Tuesday premiere of Davis’ new movie The Help.

"We are about to adopt a baby," Davis said. The couple explained that the baby would be adopted domestically but didn’t reveal any further details.

The baby will be Davis’ first child. Tennon has two children from a previous marriage. They have been married since 2003.
