Snowman Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • Marshmallows
  • Hershey's Kisses
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Orange colored star sprinkles
  • Frosting
  • Box Cake Mix or subsitute with your own favorite cake recipe
  • Toothpicks

 

Instructions

Step 1: Bake your box cake according to recipe instructions. Bake cupcakes and allow to cool. Frost as desired.

Step 2 To make the snow man you will need two marshmallows, Hershey's Kiss, and both the orange and chocolate sprinkles, as well as toothpicks. Take a toothpick and twist it into the center of the Hershey's Kiss.

Step 3: Cut two marshmallows in half with a pair of kitchen scissors. Set aside 3 of the four pieces for your snowman. (The extra you can discard or use for more snowmen.) Slide the three half marshmallows through the toothpick that you have already added the chocolate too. This will make the snowman's body. Leave a little toothpick on the end so you can insert into the cupcake later.

Step 4. Take another toothpick and poke holes in the top marshmallow for your eyes and nose. Take one chocolate sprinkle for each eye and press it into the eye holes. Take an orange star shaped sprinkle and press it into the nose hole. Using your toothpick again poke three holes into the middle marshmallow for the buttons. Press one sprinkle in each hole to make the snowman's buttons.

Step 5. Place the snowman on your cupcakes.
