This is one of the things that almost all moms have thought. And, sure some moms do a better job than others when it comes to their children’s behavior. Little ones, especially children under three, are prone to melt downs or tantrums that sometimes come on unexpectedly. When kids are tired, hungry, or don’t feel well, they don’t always handle things well. It’s not always as easy as one might think to deal with an emotional toddler or preschooler. Sometimes mom’s best effort to diffuse and distract her toddler just doesn’t work and while it may seem like a firm no with a threat of action would do the trick, parenting a little one isn’t quite as easy as it might appear. This is one thing that everyone hopes they won’t have to take off their “I’d never” list, but most moms aren’t perfect and have at least one or two episodes where public outings don’t go as well as planned.
