Caterpillar Cupcakes

To make your caterpillar cupcakes you will need:

  • 7 cupcakes
  • white frosting
  • green food coloring
  • brown food coloring
  • butter knife
  • tray or foil covered cardboard
  • sandwich bag
  • red or black peel apart licorice

How to make caterpillar cupcakes

Step 1-Take about a tablespoon size of frosting add brown food coloring. Place this in a sandwich bag for later. Step 2- Mix up the green food coloring and the rest of the frosting until you get a nice green color. Step 3-Now frost your cupcakes fairly thick. Step 4-Using the same knife to make the frosting look spiky by patting it up and down on the frosting. Step 5-Take the bag of brown frosting and cut out a small hole in one corner. Squeeze the frosting out this hole. Draw in some eyes and mouth on one cupcake. Draw spots on the rest of the cupcakes. Step 6- Place the cupcakes on a tray in a lazy "s" formation. Step 7-Cut a peel apart licorice in half. Peel off the strings apart and place one on each side of the cupcakes except the head.

Now you have a cute catepillar cake to eat.
