Today was my official 6 week postpartum visit, so I feel like it's appropriate to really "start" my weightloss again.

My pre-pregnancy weight was 209. At last weigh-in at 38 weeks, I was 243. I'm down to 223 now.

I'm only 5'4", so I really need to lose some weight to be at a healthy weight and BMI. While in college, I weighed 118 lbs. I DO NOT plan or hope to be that small again, but I would LOVE to hit below 200, and then move on down...my BIG goal is to hit 165. Obviously though, I'll start with one goal, and that is to hit below 200!

Breastfeeding is my friend, and I'm trying to use that to my advantage. I want to eat healthy for my baby, and for myself. I want to be able to run around and play with my daughter by the time she's running around.

I have been walking in the evenings with her for 2 weeks now. It feels SO good! My hope is after I switch jobs and go down to part time, that I can join the YMCA...they have free child care while you're working out. Also, they have mommy and me swim classes starting at 6 months old. So, if I can drop at least a size or two by the time she's 6 months old, I would be VERY happy!!!

I know this will be hard, as it has been a BIG struggle for me in the past...but so far, it's going well, and I think that's because I have the ultimate motivation now--my daughter! Now...if I could just get DH back on the bandwagon again!!!
