I did for my first two, but not yet for my baby, he has really just started eating foods, and if I ever find the time, I will make his too!
For fruits, I would just steam them to make them mushy and then mash them either with a fork or in the food processer, add water from the pot to dilute more. I used --pears, peaches, apples, apricots. Bananas are the easiest, just peel and mash!
I did different things for different veggies. For squash just cut in half and bake until mushy. For sweet potatoes, peel and boil and mash. I steamed carrots and used the water in the pot to mash. I used jar food for green beans and peas since they required more effort.
