I think finding the right elements has to do with building your library of kits. That's what I'm trying to do right now, anyway... bulking up so I have more things to choose from when I sit down and do a page. I've left all my kits intact, but also copied all my elements into their own folder category (solid ribbon, frames, brads, journaling blocks - just to name a few categories). So if I'm looking for something (a flower for example) I just go into that folder and browse through all of them.

What I'm struggling with as a newbie digi scrapper is figuring out how to do certain techniques that I see. It took me awhile to figure out I could buy an overlay for $1.00 instead of trying to distress the edges of my photos by hand every single time. I'm sure there are tons of techniques I don't even know about. And the most frustrating thing is I'm using a program that not too many people use, so I don't even really have anyone to ask for help.
