Yesterday afternoon we took my little girl to the pool since it was the last day it would be open for the year. She had a blast. Well today as shes falling asleep on me I start playing with her hair as I always do. Guess what I find?
Yup your right, LICE. I could not believe it. I even doubted it so much that I took her to her doctors office and ad the nurses confirm it.
So tonight I had a great time packing up all her stuffed animals and spraying them down, removing all her bedding and washing it, oh and the best part of all, using the special shampoo on her head. They caution you so much about getting it in her eyes I was miserable and even got into her bathtub with her to rinse her hair out. Then have you ever tried to get a 15 month old girl who hates having her hair combed to sit still? I had to do it so I could check her entire head with that very fine comb. I felt so bad when I was done that I let my little girl who very rarely gets anything sugary or sweet, got to eat a Popsicle tonight after her bath. I just felt so bad for her.
Well then as her dad was putting her to sleep I went upstairs to make her bed, coming down I almost fell on our horrible stairs and it appears that I may have bruised the bone in my left foot. I drive a car with a manual transmission and I have to be able to drive my husband to work in the morning then a few hours later get my dad to his next chemo session. Right now I can barely walk.
Well thanks for letting me vent, I am so glad the day is almost over, my bed is calling me.
